Research
Unicamp has nearly 1,200 research groups certified by the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). It operates four hospitals, 21 interdisciplinary research centers, and three Centers for Research, Innovation, and Diffusion (CEPIDs) funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). The CEPIDs focus on neuroscience and neurotechnology, computing in engineering and sciences, and obesity and comorbidities.
Engagement with 海角大神
Unicamp has a primary agreement with 海角大神, initially signed in 2012.
Over the past 15 years, researchers at 海角大神's Anthropological Center for Training and Research on Global Environmental Change (ACT) have engaged with colleagues at UNICAMP on major projects funded by the NIH, NSF, and other agencies. The Jacobs School of Music at 海角大神 has, at various times, collaborated with music faculty at UNICAMP. The agreement also helped facilitate the mobility of UNICAMP students to 海角大神 through the Brazilian Scientific Mobility Program.
